A classic American Empire 2 drawer sewing stand or side table is mahogany from the 1840s, with a gorgeous banded and flame grain top. Hand dovetailed drawers have rounded fronts, and this is very sturdy antique furniture, nice next to a bed, chair or sofa.

The deep finish is excellent on all four sides, with only very minor mars. Size is 21" wide, 17" deep and 28" tall.
