This set of six sturdy walnut Victorian dining chairs were made in Bloomington, IL about 1880. The warm brown finish is excellent, and these are solid and very usable antiques.
One chair is slightly different, see photos, and 2 chair bottoms have been reinforced. These chairs have descended in the family of a furniture dealer, and one chair has the original label from the factory.
There are burl panels on the back, and "hip-huggers" on the seat. Size is 19" wide, 22" deep, 34" tall and the seats are 17 1/2" high.
