From the days when rugged telephones lasted "forever," this signed "Kellogg, Chicago" wall phone is a working example. The testing label dated 1995 on the back describes the model as a "redbar," because of the red bar switch in the handset holder.
The connection cord has been replaced with a modern cord that has a standard modular plug. We estimate the age of this phone as the late 1940's, and have plugged this phone into a land line, it makes and receives calls, with a classic bell ringer. Size including the handset is 10" wide, 8" tall and 4" deep when mounted on a wall. C-T5725 This item has sold.
