This Georgian style mahogany dining set with stately traditional proportions has 8 chairs, and is signed by premier American maker, "Baker." In wonderful condition, this is classic vintage furniture from the 1950's.
The table has an engraved "Baker" signature plate and inlaid banding. The three original leaves match and fit perfectly, one has slight wear on the edge, see photo. There are two pedestals, each with four reeded legs. Measurements are 46" wide, 29 1/2" tall, closed length is 5'8" long, and extended with all three leaves, 10' long.
All 8 matching solid mahogany chairs have been newly padded and upholstered. They have graceful carved backs in an "interwoven" pattern, are large and comfortable, and completely solid. There are only minor mars on the chairs, the table finish is superb. Two armchairs measure 26" wide, 25" deep and 38" tall, the six side chairs are 22" wide, 24" deep and 37" tall. C-T5726
