This stunning Georgian or Chippendale style dining set represents the height of classic good taste.
The table has center of matched flame grain mahogany, with an opulent border of ebony, rosewood, and satinwood. Supported on solid mahogany pedestals with brass feet, there are two 22" leaves that match and fit perfectly. Almost new, this table has never served a meal. The polished satiny finish is excellent, there are only minute imperfections.
Measurements are 46" wide, 30" tall, 6' long when closed, and 9'8" long with both leaves in place.
Ten matching solid mahogany chairs are carved in the early Georgian style, with delicate detailing. These chairs are virtually new, never used for dining. There are tiny variations and irregularities that show they were truly hand carved, the semi-glossy finish is excellent. All are large and comfortable sturdy chairs, with neutral upholstery that can easily be changed to accomodate any setting.
The 2 armchairs are 26" wide, 21" deep, and 40" tall, seats are 19" high. Eight side chairs measure 23" wide, 21" deep and 40" tall. C-LH1A This item has sold.
