A stately Georgian style dining set includes an imposing table with matched flame grain mahogany and opulent banding in rosewood, satinwood and tulipwood. Twelve solid carved mahogany chairs include 2 with arms. Neutral upholstery on the soft cushions is easily replaced to match any decor. This set has been displayed, but was never used for a meal. The imposing table has a lustrous satin finish in impeccable condition and spectacular natural grain and color, note a tiny irregularity in the banding underneath the finish.
There are two carved solid mahogany pedestals with brass feet, and two 23" wide leaves with skirts or aprons. Measurements are 54" wide, 29 1/2" tall, and 7'3" long when closed, with both leaves in place, length is 11'2."
The twelve solid mahogany chairs include 2 arms, and they are large and comfortable, with neutral upholstered cushions that can be easily recovered. The two armchairs are 26" wide, 25" deep and 41" tall, the ten side chairs measure 22" wide, 25" deep and 41" tall. Seats are 19" tall. D-LH13 This item has sold.
