This picturesque folk-style chest of drawers was hand-made about 1900, originally there were dividers in all three drawers to accommodate Edison cylinder phonograph records.
There are still marks from the dividers on the drawer bottoms, and interior size is 18" deep, 17 1/2" wide, and 5" tall. Sides and back are raised panels above carved panels at the bottom.
The deep brown finish is excellent on solid poplar and oak. Measurements are 28" wide, 23" deep and 36" tall.
