Graceful Georgian Chippendale design is represented with this writing desk with a gold tooled leather top and carved ball and claw feet. Signed by famous maker, "Sligh,", this is deluxe vintage furniture from about 25 years ago.
The mahogany has a warm glossy original finish in superb condition, with minor mars at the edges and drawer molding losses, see photos.
There are leather writing shelves that slide on the right and left top drawers. All drawers have dovetailed oak sides, heavy original brasses and are finished inside. Original keys and Sligh tag are included.
Size is 5' long, 30" deep and 30" tall, the kneehole is 26" wide and about 24" high. D-D1740
