An antique Victorian hall or pier mirror has beveled glass, three additional round mirrors in the crown and a marble shelf with fossils. Solid birch hardwood with its original finish has been revarnished sometime in the past, and there is some wear, touchups and repairs.
The marble is undamaged, note deterioration to the silvering on the "porthole" mirrors on top. Decorative American hall furniture from the 1880's, this mirror would have reflected gas lights in a foyer or landing. Size is 30" wide, 10" deep and 7' 8" tall.
