This music stand is a wonderful example of Victorian papier mache artistry from the 1850's. Hand painted with gold leaf and mother of pearl inlay, the brass mechanism adjusts height and tilt.

Entirely original with a few chips at the edges and minor touchups, this marvelous antique is sturdy and very solid.

The base is 18" in diameter, the music desk is 17" wide and 15" tall, and height is adjustable from 42" to 60" tall.
