Beautifully crafted of solid quarter-sawn oak about 1895, this lovely Victorian bedroom set includes a full or double size bed, dresser with beveled mirror, and a washstand or commode with towel bar.

All the richly embossed brass hardware is original, and the golden brown finish is excellent. There is wonderful warm patina, with a few small mars and stains on tops for "character." Drawers are dovetailed, and workmanship is superior throughout.

The paneled bed is 4'10" wide, 6'8" long, the headboard is 6'3" tall and the footboard is 35" high.

A wide beveled mirror has a swivel frame on the dresser, size is 47" wide, 20" deep and 6'5" tall.

The small chest or wash stand was used for a bowl and pitcher in the days before plumbing, the towel bar above is removable. Size is 36" wide, 20" deep and 58" tall.
