A magnificent quarter-sawn solid oak conference or dining table has columnar legs with carved Ionic capitals. There are 2 dovetailed drawers on one side, and the lustrous deep brown finish is excellent.
Completely sound and firm, this outstanding table was finely made about 1900 for a St. Louis courthouse. Because of the long span, there is a sag in the center, see photos.
