This four section quarter sawn oak stacking lawyer's or barrister's bookcase folds almost flat for moving, and is signed "The Lawson, Forest City Fur. Co., Rockford, Il. 1902"
We have sold hundreds of stacking bookcases and this is the first folding style we have seen. The rich brown finish is excellent on this antique furniture from the very early 1900's.
Top and base are separate, the top section holds books up to 8" tall and 10" deep, the second section up to 10" x10" and the two lower sections up to 12" tall and 10" deep. Overall measurements are 5'1" tall, 35" wide and 14" deep. F-B2150 This item has sold.
