This graceful and imposing 10 pc. dining set is golden brown burl and walnut. Although not signed, this undoubtedly was designed by famous American furniture maker Romweber.
Every piece is in wonderful condition. The table has 4 leaves with aprons, and extends to 10'8" long, six large and comfortable chairs are newly upholstered, there is a sideboard or buffet and a china cabinet.
Exquisite detail in the carving and paw feet is exceptional. The book-matched acacia burl has beautiful shimmering natural grain and the glowing warm finish is superb. Embossed brasses are original and interiors are finished on this fine vintage American furniture from the 1940's.
Table dimensions are 44" across, 30" tall, legroom of 26" and closed length is 5'4" long. When all four leaves are in place, total length is 10'8," solidly supported by a pair of center legs.
Both armchairs are 24"wide, 24" deep and 39" tall, the four side chairs are 21" wide, 21" deep, 38" tall and seats are all 19" high.
The sideboard has an elegantly curved front, it is 5'10" long, 22" deep and 36 1/2" tall.
Dimensions on this huntboard is 39" wide, 21" deep and 34" tall.
The china cabinet has grooved shelves for displaying plates, and is 39" wide, 18" deep and 6'4" tall.
