Harmonious and graceful carving adorns this 10 pc. dining set, consisting of 6 chairs, table and 2 leaves, china cabinet, sideboard and huntboard. Made of walnut with burl and rosewood accents, the finish is in excellent condition. Expertly crafted about 1925, this impeccable antique furniture has fluted legs and understated detailing.
Six large and comfortable chairs include one with arms, all are stable and strong, newly padded and upholstered. The arm chair measures 24" wide, 25" deep and 43" tall, the side chairs are 20" wide, 22" deep and 42" tall.
Two 12" wide original leaves fit the table, which is 42" wide, and 30" tall. Legroom is 25 1/2". Length closed is 5'2," with both leaves in place length is 7'2."
The sideboard has a curved serpentine front and measures 6' long, 21" deep and 38 1/2" tall.
A smaller huntboard is 40" wide, 20" deep and 35" tall.
The china cabinet has a beautiful pediment and grillwork, measuring 41" wide, 20" deep and 6' tall. Drawers have dovetailed oak sides and original embossed brasses.
