Dating about 1820 this New England pine, blanket chest or trunk is pegged and has rose-faceted hand-made nails. A true "six-board chest," the pine planks are all hand planed.

Sheraton influence shows in the turned legs. The finish is very beautiful with just enough mars and dings to give a little character.

Dimensions of this well-preserved antique furniture are 49" long, 21" deep and 30" tall.
