    A New England classic, this solid cherry chest or dresser dates from the Empire period about 1825. Simple and robust, there is ample storage in large, hand-dovetailed drawers.

This is genuine antique furniture with stains, chips, mars and wear - beautiful patina and warm, glowing color. The finish is in very good condition, drawers fit well and glide smoothly. Brasses are replaced. Every surface is hand-planed, and nails are hand cut. Size is 45" wide, 21" deep and 47" tall.
