Georgian Chippendale Rocker

Carved of solid mahogany about 1940, this rocker shows traditional Georgian or Chippendale design.

The deep reddish finish is superb, joints are tight and solid, and the seat has been newly upholstered. There is a chunk out of the arm - see photo. How did that happen?

Large and comfortable with shaped arms, this vintage furniture measures 29" wide, 32" deep, 37" tall and the seat is 17" high.
