Federal Mahogany Secretary Desk & Bookcase

An American classic, this mahogany secretary desk has a bookcase top as well as compartments and drawers inside. When the drop front is opened, wooden supports automatically extend. The deep reddish finish is excellent.
This desk has a graceful pediment, serpentine front, and claw and ball feet. Shelves have grooves to display plates.
Fine vintage furniture from the 1940's, measurements are 31" wide, 18" deep, 6 1/2' tall, and the writing surface is 28" above the floor.
