This authentic New England Empire period sideboard is flame grain mahogany with tapered columns and paw feet. Entirely hand made about 1830, it has grace and beautiful proportions.
The deep reddish finish is very fine. Door panels are chamfered inside, drawers have tiny hand-cut dovetails, and interior surfaces are all hand-planed. There is lots of character and patina on this authentic antique furniture - mars, repairs and shrinkage separations as would be expected for its age.
Dimensions are 49" wide, 23" deep and 41 1/2" tall.
Item # H-S1887
