A richly carved pair of "Savonarola" chairs show the famous design from Renaissance Florence, they are named after a famous controversial Catholic monk.

The solid fruitwood frames can be unscrewed and folded, the warm brown finish is excellent. Arms have carved wooden rings for tassels or scarves.

Vintage Italian furniture from about 50 years ago, dimensions are 27" wide, 20" deep, 36" tall, seats are 18" high.
