A richly carved pair of "Savonarola" chairs show the famous design from Renaissance Florence, they are named after a famous controversial Catholic monk.
The solid fruitwood frames can be unscrewed and folded, the warm brown finish is excellent. Arms have carved wooden rings for tassels or scarves.
