Hand-made about 1850, probably to hold a bowl and pitcher, this country pine night stand may have been a dry sink. Square hand-made nails are visible on this rustic and well-worn antique.
The top, sides and even the rough-sawn back are all single planks of pine. Wainscoting was used for the door, and the finish is very good, with loads of mars, wear and stains to give character.
Size of this picturesque primitive furniture is 25" wide, 19" deep, 32" tall, and the top surface is 28" high.
