Hand carved of pine and oak about 1850 in New England, this deacon's bench or settee is in top-notch condition.

Sturdy and very usable, the deep sculpted seat is comfortable - moreso than most antique furniture from this period.

The deep brown finish is very fine, and every spindle and plank is hand shaped and planed. Dimensions are 7'2" long, 24" deep, 34" tall, the seat is 17" high.
