Hand made in Ohio about 1835 of solid cherrywood, this simple and classic Empire chest has large drawers with beautiful hand dovetails. Drawer bottoms are hand chamfered, and the back is hand planed and paneled. Tapered columns frame this well proportioned furniture.
The warm ruddy brown finish is superb, and size is 44" wide, 20 1/2" deep, 43" tall to the surface and 47" tall to the back.
