A stately Georgian design mahogany dining set includes twelve carved mahogany chairs and a lavishly banded 13' long table with three carved pedestals. The polished table top is spectacular, with matched flame or cathedral grain mahogany across the center, and an opulent perimeter banding in rosewood, ebony and satinwood.
Brass paw feet protect the graceful legs, and there are three wide leaves with matching aprons or skirts. This generously scaled table is contemporary - it has been displayed, but has never served a meal. The leaves match and fit perfectly, the table opens and closes smoothly. Measurements are 52" wide, 29 1/2" tall, and 13'2" long with all three 24" leaves in place, it is 7'2" long when closed.
Twelve shield back chairs are pierced and hand carved, and they are solid mahogany with graceful lines and large seats. Neutral padded seats (20" high) are easily recovered to match any decor.
Armchairs are 26" wide, 23" deep and 41" tall, side chairs are 22" wide, 23" deep and 40" tall. Additional side chairs may be available.
All chairs and the table are completely solid, and this set is exceptional in every way. Additional side chairs may be available at $300 each.
