    Hand carved of solid walnut about 1900, this prayer kneeler or Prie Dieu has wonderful spiral columns adorned with grape vines. The warm brown finish is superb, and the armrest is sturdy and solid.

Made for an aristocratic family's private chapel near Genoa, Italy, every side is gracefully curved. This exquisite antique furniture measures 23" wide, 23" deep and 30" tall.
