New England Antique 1825 Cabinet or Armoire

This charming antique cabinet has loads of storage, is useful in many settings, and was hand crafted in New England about 1825.

Entirely hand-made of birch and pine, the warm finish is excellent - the shimmering birch grain on the front has especially wonderful golden patina.

The upper interior still has its well worn original blue paint. Drawers are hand dovetailed, original square nails are visible. There are numerous repairs and lots of character - mars, shrinkage separations and stains - see photos.

The upper section is separate for easier handling. Dimensions of this picturesque antique furniture are 51" wide, 21" deep and 6'8" tall.
