Queen Size Bed, Banded Burl & Bronze Mounts

An elegant bed, adapted to fit standard queen size bedding, is inlaid with quarter matched burl with mahogany banding. The original polished finished is excellent, embossed brass mounts are intact, and there is a burnished gold crest. The finish appears uneven in one of the photos, but it is not, there is glare from the polished finish.
This superior quality vintage furniture is from about 50 years ago, and is either French or Italian. Size is 7'4" long, 5'9" wide, the headboard is 41" high and the gracefully curved footboard is 22" tall.
