This French "Semanier," or "weekly" 7 drawer lingerie chest, has a drawer for each day. Expert craftsmanship and beautiful European design is only part of the charm of this exquisite antique chest with a marble top.

Mahogany and rosewood with intricate banding, the heavy weight brass mounts are all original. The polished finish on the gracefully curved front and sides is excellent. Elegantly shaped, the marble top is beautiful and also in excellent condition. A key operates the locks on this fine furniture from about 1900, and solid oak-sided drawers have hand cut dovetails, they are finished inside to avoid snagging silks.

Size of this charming and very well crafted furniture is 34" wide, 17" deep and 52" tall.
