Oak Rolltop Document or Map File Cabinet Jewel Chest

This charming Victorian document or map cabinet has a rolltop that covers small file drawers - it would also make a lovely jewelry chest. The golden brown finish on solid oak and ash hardwood is excellent, sides are paneled. There are just enough mars to give a little character. At the bottom is a large drawer with removable divider.

This antique American furniture dates from about 1895. Cast iron label holders and bin pulls appear original. Six small drawers have interior measurements of 13 1/2" wide, 16" deep and 1 3/4" tall. Overall dimensions are 19" wide, 22" deep and 31" tall.
