A refined Victorian dining table was crafted of solid walnut about 1870, and has 6 leaves with matching skirts or aprons. The richly carved pedestal splits when opened, revealing a hidden center leg for extra support. Brass wheels are original, and the deep satiny finish is excellent.
This American antique opens and closes smoothly, the leaves are just over 12" wide, all fit and match very well. Size of this strong and very usable furniture is 4' in diameter, 30" tall, there is 26" of legroom underneath, and length with all 6 leaves in place is 10'1" total. Chairs are not included.
