A genuine Pennsylvania Dutch antique armoire or "Schrank," has an upper "secret" drawer for valuables and hand-carved wooden clothes hooks on swivel bars inside. It is solid cherrywood with impressive color and patina, and the finish is excellent on this country cherry antique.

Hand work is visible all over this well crafted furniture - dovetailed joints, hand planing and chamfered panels. There are hints of European classical and Biedermeier influence in this American country furniture.

For moving, this wardrobe can be disassembled if desired. The interior is empty other than the hooks at the top, it could be fitted with shelves, closet pole or whatever if desired. There is a slight warp in the doors, see photos.

Measurements are 4'5" wide, 2' deep and 74" tall.
