Beautifully made of solid mahogany, this two door cabinet with center desk may have been intended as a bookcase or file cabinet - it would also make a nice bar as well.
The doors have beautiful matched flame grain, the satiny finish is in very good condition with minor wear and scratches. A locking drop-front desk has cubicles and tiny hand dovetailed drawers inside - it is "stand up" or stool height at 35" above the floor.
The large iron lock and key are original. There are shrinkage separations in the wide pine boards on the back of this antique furniture dating from about 1895.
Measurements of this stately antique furniture are 5'10" wide, 16" deep and 4' tall.
