Beautifully hand-carved of solid mahogany with flame grain panels, this Victorian sofa dates to the 1850's. The exquisite detailing in the crest is especially lovely.

Recently upholstered in soft velvet, the finish is very good. As comfortable as antique seating gets, the springs are soft but supportive. The frame is solid and very usable with a just a little play in one arm.

Gracefully curved, this nostalgic American furniture measures 7'10" long, 31" deep, 39" tall and the seat is 17" high.
