This classic executive writing desk is signed by custom maker, "Alex Stuart, Chatsworth, Cal.," and is exquisitely crafted of mahogany with inlaid banding and marquetry. The top is three panels of 24k gold-tooled and shaded leather.

Drawers glide like silk, and there is a large interview shelf on the opposite side. Beautiful heavy weight brasses are original, as well as the tapered brass feet. About 10 years old, the finish is superb on all four sides with only minor mars, there is a scratch across the left leather panel and the mahogany top that has been retouched, see photos.

Measurements of this superior quality vintage desk are 5'10" wide, 34" deep, and 29 1/2" tall. The kneehole is 34" wide, and 27" tall. The matching credenza in the last photo is available separately.
