Arts & Crafts Oak Stacking Lawyer's Bookcase

This four-stack lawyer's Arts and Crafts period bookcase is signed "Globe Wernicke" and dates from the very early 1900's. There is a very fine lustrous finish on quarter-sawn oak, the old wavy glass is all original.

Each section, plus the base and top, is separate, and the doors operate smoothly. Size of this American antique furniture is 34 1/2" wide, 12" deep, 5'1" tall.

All sections hold books up to 10" deep, the top two will hold books up to 9" tall, the third down holds books up to 11" tall and the bottom section holds books up to 13" tall.
