Carved in English Renaissance manner, this wonderful oak huntboard or small sideboard was intended as a buffet for a cold supper of smoked meat, fish and cheese for a late meal after hunting. This charming piece would also be nice in foyer.
The solid quarter sawn oak top has exquisite fine grain, there is marvelous detail to the spiral or rope carved columns. A drawer has dovetailed joints.
The rich deep finish is excellent on this historic antique furniture from about 1910. Dimensions are 46" wide, 18" deep, 40" tall and the top is 34" high. Matching pieces in last photo are priced separately.
