Our son has outgrown this 3/4 size student cello, which is a very nice and sturdy instrument with good tone.

It is signed "Laurel, Made in Germany for Lewis and Son, Chicago, no. 1919." This vintage cello has a recent Bausch bridge, cloth bag, tailpiece with tuning knobs and synthetic 25 1/2" bow.

The varnish has nice color and patina - there are chips and wear, especially at the edges. Excluding the endpin, length is 45" and width is 16."
