Stately and elegant, this Georgian style dining set includes 10 chairs and a magnificent table with a matched flame mahogany top, richly banded in rosewood, tulipwood and ebony. Supported on a pair of solid mahogany carved pedestals, the feet have traditional brass tips. The gleaming polished finish is excellent, with only minuscule mars.
Less than a year old, the corners of this imposing table are gracefully rounded. There are 3 matching 20" wide leaves with skirts that match perfectly. Dimensions are 46" wide, 30" tall, legroom under the recessed skirt or apron is 27" high, and length closed is 6'2" long. With all three leaves in place, length is 11' 2" total.
Ten pierced and hand carved chairs are solid mahogany. Additional side chairs may be available at $300 each, as the table easily accommodates 12.
This dining set, table and chairs, are modern reproductions or replicas of 18th Century Georgian or Federal Period furniture. These famous designs are prestigious classics, which are almost new from famous American table makers. Sometimes they are from designer showrooms, furniture trade shows, or custom order cancellations. Sets are offered at a price far less than furniture stores. After carefully inspection of these traditional tables and fine chairs, they are polished as needed. There are only very tiny mars or scratches, and we proudly present this historic and impeccable furniture at extraordinary savings.
