Victorian Papier Mache & Pearl Box & Tray

    An elegant Victorian card tray and covered box are papier mache, inlaid
with mother of pearl. These are original antiques from about 1860, the
tray has traces of original filigree gold leaf design.

The tray has chips at the edges and an old hairline crack visible on the the
backside, diameter is 10 1/2." There is also a chip on the edge of the bottom of the round covered box, which is 3" tall.
