Carved of solid walnut about 1870, a stunning Victorian tall chest of drawers or dresser has a "sidelock" to secure the drawers. Superior craftsmanship is evident everywhere on this stellar Victorian furniture.

Drawers have matched burl fronts and expertly carved pulls, the sides are hand-dovetailed solid walnut as well. Carved details on the corners are artistic, and the gleaming finish is excellent with warm patina.

The sidelock operates, locking all drawers at the same time. Size of this picturesque American antique is 42" wide, 23" deep and 51" tall.
