Renaissance Carved 1925 Sofa & Chair Set

A striking antique 1925 era channel-tufted sofa and armchair set have carved solid walnut frames and upholstery fabric that will either charm or frighten you. Exceptionally lavish carving and piercing reflects Renaissance furniture design. Frames are totally solid with a very fine deep finish.
Very comfortable, cushions are zippered and springs are soft but supportive. The front of the sofa is gracefully curved. There is very little wear on the fabric, we have not attempted to clean the arms or stains on the chair cushion, which has deteriorated stuffing.
Measurements of this American sofa are 7 1/2' long, 36" deep, 35" tall and the seat is 19" high. The armchair is 36" wide, 36" deep and 36" tall, seat is also 19" high.
