Antique Country Pine Stand-up Secretary Desk

    Charmingly hand-made about 1860, a country pine stand-up or stool height secretary desk has warm, golden patina.

Exposed hand-cut dovetails and wooden pegs show rustic expertise and craftsmanship. There is lots of character - traces of old stenciling, shrinkage separations, mars, losses and ink stains. Inside the drop front are tiny cubbyholes. The upper section is a separate piece, and the right and left tiny drawers and feet appear rebuilt.

Measurements of this nostalgic antique furniture are 51" wide, 25" deep, 46" tall and the base is 36" high, the writing surface is 37" high.
