A very fine German mantel clock signed "Junghans" is all original, and in top running condition. The simple and elegant arched case is mahogany with original finish in excellent condition, there is a little wear at the edges and crazing.

A push button on the side releases a cast brass bezel holding a beveled convex glass. There is slight wear to the silverplate dial with engraved and hand-painted numerals.

Professionally cleaned and oiled, the brass 8 day movement strikes the hour and half with a deep, resonant tone. This 1900 era antique clock measures 9 1/2" wide, 6" deep and 11" tall.
