This classic Louis XV design French armoire has doors with shaped and beveled mirrors and curved sides. Hand carved of rosewood about 1890, the original finish is in wonderful condition, with beautiful patina. Warm patina and exquisite diamond matched panels are outstanding.

The wonderful Roccoco crest is truly amazing and shows stunning artistry. Expert carving is in high relief, panels are diagonally matched.

Rosewood has a sublime delicate grain and color, is extremely hard, and has a silken original finish. Inside are shelves, and this elegant antique furniture shows outstanding workmanship and subtle details everywhere.

The interior is oak and bird's eye maple with shelves adjustable on wooden supports, there are are 2 hand dovetailed drawers at the bottom.

There are minor mars at the edges, measurements are 5' wide, 19" deep and 8 1/2' tall. Last two photos have a matching nightstand and bed - available separately.
