Victorian Eastlake Secretary Desk, Bookcase Top

This 1880 Victorian or Eastlake period secretary desk with bookcase top is solid walnut with geometric fluted molding. Shelves in the bookcase are adjustable on wooden supports. Wavy glass in the doors and hardware is original.
The finish has glowing warm patina and is in excellent condition on this American antique furniture. There are pull-out supports for the drop front writing area, inside are small drawers and cubicles. The upper section is separate.
Lower drawers are dovetailed, and measurements are 44" wide, 20" deep and 6''11" tall, the writing area is 28" high.
