Georgian Tambour Writing Desk, Leather Top

This traditional Georgian style writing desk has tambour or roll-top doors and a flip-open leather writing surface. Pull-out wooden brackets support the work area. Classic mahogany is inlaid with beautiful satinwood banding and rosewood marquetry "columns."

The finish is excellent, and brasses are original from the 1940's. Superior quality American vintage furniture, drawer fronts are matched flame grain mahogany. Drawers are dovetailed and the upper section is removable.

Dimensions are 36" wide, 19" deep when closed, 45" tall and the leather top is 30" high.
