Country French 1780 Antique Cabinet

Hand-hewn and carved of solid oak about 1780, an authentic Country French side cabinet has many uses. Wooden pegs secure the thick boards on this rustic and rugged antique.
The drawer is hand dovetailed, the wrought iron lock and hardware are over a century old but not original. Lots of stains, mars, and separations give this provincial furniture great character - it has beautiful old patina and a very nice dark finish.
Size of this historic cabinet is 23" wide, 18" deep and 37 1/2" tall.
