Marble Sculpture, Bust of Young Woman

    A lovely hand-carved marble statue is a bust of a young woman. She has a thoughtful and peaceful expression, looking downward, lost in her thoughts, and shows exceptional artistry. Subtle engraving reflects the embroidery in her clothing.

This work of art dates from the 1890's, and shows no damage or repairs, other than a few rough spots at the edges.

The milky white marble is serene, there is more grain to the base, which is a separate piece of marble. Size of this alluring sculpture is 10" across and 17" high.
