Authentic Art Nouveau period furniture from about 1900, this bed is shown with standard full or double mattress, it could be adapted to queen size.

Entirely original and in remarkably pristine condition, the solid mahogany frame has contrasting birdseye maple panels. Curvaceous lines express the graceful design of the period, recalling famed artists of the day, Tiffany, Galle and Majorelle. For a fee of $75, modern steel rails and fittings can be furnished, they will not damage the frame and it can be easily returned to its present, full or double, size.

The satiny finish has beautiful patina in warm, medium tones. Artistic hand-carved details are outstanding.

Size of this exquisite historic furniture is 5' 4" wide, 6' 10" long, the headboard is 4' 8' tall, the footboard is 34" tall. There is a loss on the inside of the footboard see photo. Matching pieces are sold separately.
